ISO Quality and Environmental
Quality and the Environment are proof of Yamabiko’s commitment
The development of technology is the driving force behind Yamabiko’s activities. To ensure that the objectives behind this technology are fully reflected in our products, we have built a broad-based integrated production system, from materials through through product assembly. We implement rigorous quality controls in all stages of production, including casting, moulding and processing. We are also dedicated to promoting factory automation, aiming for stable quality, stable production and labour savings, while also developing our production sites and expanding facilities. Our advanced technology allows us to produce high output engines running at upwards of 10,000rpm, and a single power generator capable of handling a variety of power sources is the fruit of our advanced technology. At the site of production, Total Quality Control (TQC) is prioritised above all else, a fact clearly demonstrated by our early adoption of the ISO9000 international quality standard, the international quality standard, at an early stage. In 1994, we obtained international accreditation for the HQ area, Yokosuka and Morioka divisions, and in 1998 for the Hiroshima office and Hiroshima division. We have continued to achieve certification along with subsequent revisions to standards.
Our uncompromising commitment to quality, which is also a demonstration of our confidence and pride in all Yamabiko brands, is ultimately about delivering products and services to the satisfaction of our customers.
In June 2001, the Yokosuka division achieved Environmental Management Systems accreditation, and we remain committed to eco-friendly business activities.
