Kyoritsu Noki Company Ltd. is founded on 8 September. A revolutionary manual duster for pest control and a new power duster-fogger are introduced.

- Backpack Power Duster/Mist Blower
DM-Series of backpack blower misting and dusting units opens a new era in pest control.
- 1960
- Backpack Brushcutter
First Kyoritsu brushcutter (Power Scythe) is developed.
- 1963
- Chain saw CS-80
First ECHO chain saw, CS-80 is released. This is the first model named with “ECHO”

New shoulder type straight shaft brushcutter (Swing Scythe) is introduced.

Kyoritsu revolutionizes outdoor cleaning and maintenance with innovative backpack power blower PB-9.

Corporate name is changed from Kyoritsu Noki Company Ltd. to KIORITZ CORPORATION. Light weight ECHO chainsaw CS-302 is introduced as a first real professional small chain saw.
