Important notice on voluntary recall of Shindaiwa 242 series models sold in Europe
YAMABIKO Corporation, the manufacturer of Shindaiwa engine driven portable power equipment, announces the voluntary recall of Shindaiwa 242 series models sold in Europe; namely T242XS/EC2, C242S/EC2, AH242S/EC2, AHS242S/EC2, and M242S/EC2 (All units inclusive) due to the risk of an overheated muffler that could lead to a fire. Those who own these products are requested to stop using the equipment and bring the equipment to the nearest Shindaiwa dealer for remedial work.
