Yamabiko Corporation (Headquarters: Ome City, Tokyo; Representative Director President & CEO: Hiroshi Kubo; hereinafter "Yamabiko") has decided to integrate the overseas sales and marketing functions previously handled by Yamabiko's Global Sales & Marketing Group into its consolidated sales subsidiary, Yamabiko Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Ome City, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Nobuyuki Ashida; hereinafter "Yamabiko Japan"), as part of its initiatives toward achieving Medium-Term Management Plan 2028.
Within the Yamabiko Group, Echo Incorporated has traditionally been responsible for the Americas, Yamabiko Europe for Europe, Yamabiko Japan for Japan, and Yamabiko's Global Sales & Marketing Group for regions including Asia and Oceania outside of the Americas and Europe.
By integrating the functions of the Global Sales & Marketing Group into Yamabiko Japan, we will establish a "three-region structure" covering the Americas, Europe, and Japan/Asia (Including Oceania), aiming to accelerate business growth in global markets and improve organizational efficiency.
In its Medium-Term Management Plan 2028, the Yamabiko Group has set forth its vision of "Value Creator for Professional Outdoor Solutions across the World" aiming to evolve into a company that continues to create new value at outdoor work sites from the customer's perspective.
With overseas markets accounting for approximately 70% of Group sales, there is a greater need than ever to respond quickly to changes in the market environment and customer needs. To achieve further growth going forward, it will be essential to strengthen collaboration between domestic and overseas sales operations and evolve into a structure that enables more agile sharing of market information and planning and execution of product and sales strategies.
In light of these environmental changes, by integrating the functions handled by Yamabiko's Global Sales & Marketing Group into Yamabiko Japan, we aim to create the following synergies:
・Establishment of a "three-region structure" covering the Americas, Europe, and Japan/Asia (Including Oceania), and strengthening of inter-regional collaboration
・Faster sharing of market information and quicker planning and execution of product and sales strategies
・Improved organizational efficiency through the transfer of marketing functions
・Strengthening of business development functions including market expansion in Asia and Oceania, new product introduction, and new partner development
