Agricultural machinery

Based on the philosophy of "contributing to society through increased food production," we develop highly efficient sprayers and harvesters using proprietary blowing and spraying technology. While providing products indispensable for stable food supply, we contribute to sustainable agriculture by solving social issues through labor saving and manpower reduction.

  • Japan's first speed sprayer

Since the first domestic unit, it has spread for use in fruit tree protection. We standardized safety equipment ahead of the industry and will continue to pursue safety and performance.

YAMABIKO
DNA

02Yamabiko's DNA

Yamabiko's origins lie in two companies that dedicated themselves to Japan's post-war reconstruction: Kioritz, which contributed to post-war food production, and Shindaiwa Kogyo, which supported industrial recovery with manufacturing technology.
What both companies, which created numerous innovative products both domestically and internationally, shared was an attitude to challenge change and ideas unbound by conventional thinking. Yamabiko, born from the merger in 2008, inherited the founders' "spirit of reform" and continues to grow as a comprehensive manufacturer of outdoor power equipment.

Kioritz began its journey in 1947 with the philosophy of ""contributing to society through increased food production,"" starting with the development of pesticide applicators. Subsequently, it created Japan's first speed sprayer and the world's first power blower.

Product Lineup

Product Lineup

Yamabiko offers a wide range of products used in various work sites, meeting the diverse needs of users worldwide.
In recent years, focusing on labor saving/manpower reduction and environmental response (GX), we are deploying robotic lawn mowers, which drive growth in Europe, and battery product groups that promote agricultural electrification and environmentally friendly power generation systems in Japan.

Brand Power and Sales Network

Brand Power and Sales Network

Yamabiko possesses three brands—"KIORITZ," "shindaiwa," and "ECHO"—and a strong global sales network.
In North America, mainly through the ECHO brand, we have built strong relationships with home improvement centers and distributors and established a stable sales foundation. We also expand globally through distributors in various countries in Europe and other regions.

North American Market Deployment Capability

In North America, where many households own large properties, there is an established culture of entrusting garden maintenance and management to professional landscaping contractors (landscapers).
What they demand is high-performance and highly reliable OPE that can streamline operations.
Yamabiko has established a solid position as one of the few manufacturers that continues to meet the expectations of these professional users.
Since expanding into the US in 1971, we have continued to deliver products widely, from professionals to general users, through a sales network of approximately 8,500 stores, including the world's largest home improvement center Home Depot.

NEW INITIATIVES

05New Initiatives

To achieve sustainable growth while responding to environmental changes, Yamabiko is working on new technology development and expansion of business domains by leveraging the strengths of existing businesses.
Applying engine technology and control technology cultivated over many years, we are advancing challenges into next-generation fields such as renewable energy and automation.

Carbon Neutral Solution

We developed new power generation and power supply systems utilizing renewable energy. We are launching the "Multi-Hybrid System," which combines solar power generation, storage batteries, and generators, and are conducting demonstrations of hydrogen engine generators, advancing product development that contributes to a carbon-neutral society.
