Yamabiko Corporation supports the "Connect to the Future! Hometown Midori Landscape Children's Art Exhibition 2022"

Yamabiko Corporation is a supporter of "Connect to the Future! Hometown Midori Landscape Children's Art Exhibition 2022," which was organized by the National Federation of Land Improvement Associations and held at the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in Taito Ward, Tokyo, from December 4th to 11th 2022.

The “Midori” in the title stands for “water (mizu), land (tochi/tsuchi) and countryside (ri/sato).” The exhibition is organized to protect rural communities, which are our assets, and pass them on to the next generation by increasing the interest that children have in scenes like fields and rice paddies. Yamabiko Corporation empathizes with the objective of the art exhibition and has been a supporter since 2019, making this our fourth year of support.

A drawing by Yuito Hiragushi, a preschooler from Hiroshima, was selected for the "Yamabiko Award" we support. It was commended for conveying the brilliance of life through its powerful depiction of vivid tomatoes under a blue sky.
