Since 2019, Yamabiko Corporation has been a supporter of the "Connect to the Future! Hometown Midori Landscape Children's Art Exhibition" organized by the National Federation of Land Improvement Associations. The “Midori” in the title stands for “water (mizu), land (tochi/tsuchi) and countryside (ri/sato).” The exhibition is organized to protect rural communities, which are our assets, and pass them on to the next generation by increasing the interest that children have in scenes like fields and rice paddies. As a corporation that aims to "create the bridge that bonds people and nature with the future," we will keep supporting the organization of this art exhibition in the future as well.
We donated some of our products to Yatsugatake Center Farm Specialized Training College. Yatsugatake Center Farm Specialized Training College has contributed to the sustainable development of agriculture and rural villages based on its principle of “Nurturing dreams and life through agriculture.” Yamabiko Corporation, identifying with the school's educational policy and wishing to work together with them to develop Japan's agriculture and forestry of the future, donated some of its products to the school. We will keep up such efforts to help realize a sustainable society by improving educational places for the youth.
The Yokosuka Plant actively collaborates with road safety, crime prevention activities and measures to eliminate anti-social forces carried out by auxiliary organizations of the Taura Police Station in Kanagawa.
Our main activities involve road safety, and at events like country-wide road safety campaigns, for example, we assist in distributing awareness-raising flyers to pedestrians and passing vehicles and participate in road safety classes, working to create a safe city with no road accidents.
Additionally, to prevent crime and as a counter to anti-social forces, to achieve a safe, crime-free city, we cooperate by regularly walking around the shopping district, patrolling the streets during festivals and participating in events about eliminating violence in Kanagawa.
We will continue to collaborate with the police stations in charge, police auxiliary organizations, neighborhood associations and local companies in community-based efforts to create a city that is safe, peaceful and easy to live in.
