How Yamabiko does a month after the largest earthquake in March
As we reported earlier, all Yamabiko facilities in Japan were not damaged and 3 plants at Morioka, Yokosuka, and Hiroshima produce products as usual. Of course, there are some difficulties in electric power and material supply, however those are manageable and do not affect the production very much.
There are some problems in a steady electric power supply due to the damage to thermal power plants in the coastal area by March 11 earthquake together with the accident at Fukushima Nuclear power plant and electric shortage is expected when summer comes.
As of now, Yamabiko is and will be operating normally and general social infrastructure is in a steady recovery.
We will upload further news when situation evolves.
