Yamabiko Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Yamabiko") has launched the "Multi-Hybrid System 10kVA," an innovative power generation system that leverages the company's technological capabilities as a generator manufacturer to contribute to the realization of a carbon-neutral society.
This system combines solar power generation*, storage batteries, and generators to supply power optimally according to operating and weather conditions. On sunny days, surplus solar power is stored in the batteries, eliminating the need to operate the generators.
*The solar panels must be arranged separately.
During inclement weather, the power supply from storage batteries is prioritized, and generator operation can be reduced by up to 90% or more.* This maximizes renewable energy use and minimizes CO₂ emissions. Compared to a scenario in which the generator is the sole power source, the use of diesel oil derived from fossil fuels is reduced by up to 90%, which also contributes to cost reduction.
*A comparison with estimates for a stand-alone generator operating 24 hours a day.
In addition to providing a comfortable working environment by reducing noise and exhaust, it can serve as an independent power source during disasters and for business continuity planning (BCP) applications. It can also be used widely as an energy-saving, decarbonization solution at construction sites, event venues, and by municipalities and companies oriented toward renewable energy.
