Important notice on voluntary recall of ECHO CS-2510TES, CS-2510TESC and Shindaiwa 250TS, 250TCS

YAMABIKO Corporation, the manufacturer of ECHO and Shindaiwa engine driven portable power equipment, announces the voluntary recall of ECHO CS-2510TES and CS-2510TESC as well as Shindaiwa 250TS and 250TCS chain saws due to the risk of possible extraordinary high muffler temperature caused by insufficient cooling air due to excessive dust and debris clogged up around engine, which may result in melting some plastic components or igniting dry objects such as saw dust behind the muffler.
Those who own these products are requested to stop using the equipment and contact the nearest ECHO or Shindaiwa distributor or dealer.
