Donation of Disaster Stockpiles to Food Bank
We support the food drive activities of Ohme City, where our head office is located, and the neighboring city of Hamura, and donates disaster relief supplies to the Food Bank, which promotes food assistance at children's cafeterias and welfare facilities.

Donated to
Food Bank Ohme
Food Bank Hamura

We will continue to systematically maintain disaster stockpiles to ensure a safe and secure working environment for our employees. In addition, disaster stockpiles that are eligible for rolling stock renewal (with a shelf life of one month or longer) will be put to good use by those in need in the community, thereby reducing food loss and connecting with the local community.
We donated our products to Ohme Forestry Research Group (commonly known as Ohme Rinken), a non-profit organization. Ohme City holds a “Forest Maintenance Training Course” to promote the development of forest leaders, and Ohme Rinken is commissioned by Ohme City to provide instruction and training. In support of Ohme City's forest leader program, we have decided to donate our products as equipment for use in the forest maintenance training course. Through cooperation with local communities, we will continue to contribute to creating a bright future built on harmonious co-existence with a rich natural environmentt
The Yokosuka Plant actively collaborates with road safety, crime prevention activities and measures to eliminate anti-social forces carried out by auxiliary organizations of the Taura Police Station in Kanagawa.
Our main activities involve road safety, and at events like country-wide road safety campaigns, for example, we assist in distributing awareness-raising flyers to pedestrians and passing vehicles and participate in road safety classes, working to create a safe city with no road accidents.
Additionally, to prevent crime and as a counter to anti-social forces, to achieve a safe, crime-free city, we cooperate by regularly walking around the shopping district, patrolling the streets during festivals and participating in events about eliminating violence in Kanagawa.
We will continue to collaborate with the police stations in charge, police auxiliary organizations, neighborhood associations and local companies in community-based efforts to create a city that is safe, peaceful and easy to live in.
Many employees, mainly from the Morioka Plant, take part in the Morioka Sansa Odori Festival, one of the five major festivals of the Tohoku region.
The Group takes active part in other local events as well, such as the Yokosuka Plant taking part in New Year firefighters' event annually.

We have these other initiatives as well.
