During major disasters in Japan and overseas, we donate machinery like chainsaws, engine cutters and power sprayers to assist with rescue operations and reconstruction efforts.
Chainsaws and engine cutters are essential for removing fallen trees and concrete in disaster zones. After the Great East Japan earthquake struck, we donated engine cutters to each disaster-stricken area and contributed to recovery work such as removing rubble.
Meanwhile, power sprayers are effective against contamination in homes damaged by landslides caused by typhoons, and they are also used for cleaning and disinfection during epidemics. Sprayers are not only used during epidemics. They are also used for cleaning after disasters like earthquakes and typhoons to guard against the risk of infectious diseases due to poor hygiene conditions.
We donated wheeled power sprayers during an outbreak of foot-and-mouth disease in Miyazaki in 2010. They were deployed at disinfection sites. Apart from that, our power sprayers have been actively used in cleaning in typhoon and volcanic ash-stricken areas both within and outside Japan, including the disaster area of the Sumatra-Andaman earthquake in 2004.
With our broad lineup, we are able to select the type of product to donate according to the scale of the disaster and the purpose of the work and provide the most effective materials.
